This is Cooler. He was with me for nearly 15 years after my dad found him wandering the ranch. He was a good boy. Always patient with the kids, got along with my wife’s asshole aussie, very intuitive with commands. And just very chill overall. I miss the old boy very much, but hemangiosarcoma is not how I wanted him to go. I was with him at the end and while it hurt worse than anything I had experienced before, I will do the same for every dog that follows him. I don’t cry much, certainly not often for animals having grown up with livestock and hunting, but losing your doggo hits different.

Lost her on November 12th. A little over 16 years old. My wife used to get mad because I’d tell her that the dog was here first.

Dungey and Roxie

These two were like Velcro, they grew up together. Dungey loved that dog. And Roxie? Well, she tolerated Dungey. :joy::cry:

We all have had pets that are now gone on to greener pastures, we will never forget the love, companionship and joy they brought to our lives. I’m hoping they now run in fields of clover, and hurt no more, and will be there waiting for us on the other side… :paw_prints:
