I wasn’t expecting that price… how are the zippers… the teeth specifically… do they feel like they would hold up to abuse?

Yes. Savior makes good stuff. I have several of their bags and have not had any issues. Zippers are very sturdy.

I bought the PSA 36" case for my mid length AR. Very well made with good padding. Back pack straps on it too. Not covert at all though. I don’t ride the subway, and live in the south - so don’t need to sneak around with my rifle. 
I guess to each his own.

I had it in a cheaper 2 day pack that i paid $30 for. One of the straps ripped and a zipper pull has already bent. I should have known it was too cheap.

10-4. I don’t doubt that folks with higher end guns, would want to protect their investments. It does look high quality and provides excellent protection and room for accessories. Y’all are way more into firearms than I am to begin with. I try to keep up with info and technical discussions on here, but I am more spectator than participant. I didn’t care this much about guns during my 20 years in the military, including when carrying M-16/4 and handgun daily or even with M-2 or M-61 on the B-52. I knew how to operate them, depended on them, and kept the small arms cleaned and serviceable. Other than that they were just another tool used to do a job. May sound strange, but I miss simple old style hardwood stock hunting rifles and shotguns that I once owned, more than all these tactical style weapons…

personally, i must lean towards Savior bags. last year at the gathering i was introduced to them by their pistol bags, that they were giving away… since then i’ve purchased another type of bag from them, for use with my jakl and its perfect, i just cant remember the name of it off the top of my head… If you’ve never looked up Savior Bags / equipment I highly suggest you do. their stuff is top notch. very top notch.

Yeah i was looking at the savior American classic shorty at first but its out of stock til the end of April.
