This has been burbling in my brain for a day or two, and I genuinely appreciate the topic and happy birthday wishes. Why would I get a whole happy birthday topic? None of you know me, and this was not something I expected. Thank you everyone.
I saw it was your birthday and started the post.
Nope I don’t know you at all but it doesn’t cost anything to be nice to a fellow 2A supporter.
Obviously others felt the same way with the birthday wishes you received.

You Sir, are one of many blessed 2A supporters. Your presence here warrants special praise. Like it or not, you’ve got a bunch of brothers here ( I hope the women are just silent, not missing the dicussion). They would be your 2A Sisters!
Family, at least for me, has a wholly different meaning. Dad has missed more than a few, mom separated since I was 2, missed the point but, encouraged my firearms proficency since age 12.
You’re among brothers (not kin but kith)!
Kin ='s blood relations.
Kith ='s family that is not blood.
These are old european terms many today misconstrue as something other than the simple us vs them. Personally, the love of guns has bridged the gap on many varying ehtnic family bases.
You sir, are a man amoung the men here. Again I say happy birthday to you! It is well deserved, even if your not aware of it now.
