Normandy

Arlington

I have never been outside of the United States. I have never wanted to travel outside of the United States. But I have told family and friends that the only place outside the U.S. that I cared to visit would be Normandy. :us::us::us:

Excellent post

Thank you

I visited Arlington National Cemetery with my Sister in 1992. It is a place where we bring our heroes home, and it was a great honor for me to visit and pay respect to those brave souls who served, many of whom died in battle to keep us and others free.

Love it… I appreciate the photos. and remember those who gave all for those of us to live in peace.

I love visting arlington. I dont get to go near enough. My grandfather, grandmother, grand uncle and his wife, and my inlaw grand-uncle and his wife, are all buried or interred there.

everytime i go there i love to watch the changing of the guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier… heck i just like going to watch them too. even if not a changing… such discipline is amazing.
