Lots of Price Increases since BF/December - What have you noticed?

Noticed quite a few products have had significant price increases since BF/December

For example, PSA AR-15 PISTOL 300 BLACKOUT 8.5" 1/8 PHOS 7" LTWT M-LOK MOE SHOCKWAVE https://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-8-5-pistol-length-300aac-blackout-phosphate-1-8-7-lightweight-m-lok-moe-shockwave-pistol.html
Was $479.99 with Free Shipping on 12/11/2023, Today’s deal is $499.99

BA M4E1 stripped enhanced lowers (AR15 Lower Receiver AR replacement Parts and Accessories), always $99 (often lower with sale) jumped after the first of the year to $145.00

What items have you been following have had a major increase?

Food.

Not sure if I should laugh or cry.

I haven’t noticed, but since every single other thing I buy has gone up, I am not shocked.

EVERYTHING is up… From the Comcast bill, to the Hulu and Netflix and Amazon to Gasoline to Milk and Bread and Eggs… My damned water bill has doubled and the house insurance and vehicle insurance is up 25% more this year along with Health Insurance. A better question would be, what hasn’t raised in price?!? Good Lord, even Arizona Tea that’s ALWAYS been .99 cents is up lol. Sad

preworkout, i had to switch to mixing yohimbe straight into a glass of koolaid… actually it’s better

edit: ngl some pcc stuff, but it’s still worth every penny

Yeah, and inflation is under control.:roll_eyes::roll_eyes:

Yeah, & the Fed lowering interest rates ISN’T an election year gimmick! Granted, since I’m fixin to buy a new house, I’ll take it. But unless some serious changes take place, the bottom WILL eventually fall out. And it’ll make the Great Depression look bush league by comparison when it does.

In the meantime, all I know I can do is vote, pray & keep buying ammo. I’m at the point where I now buy 1 box of ammo a week, rotating which kind each week. So this week, its 5.56mm, next week its 124 grain 9mm defensive rounds, the week after that its 12 gauge shells (also in a rotation between defensive & bird shot). Also have bought ACTUAL BOOKS like the SAS Survival Manual, the US Special Forces Survival Manual & similar books.

groceries, fuel, i.e. gasoline for my truck.

“Six Dollars for a Freaking Smoothie!”

Ringleader
And groceries are up 33% on his watch :rage:

Or higher.

Your first example is a 4 percent increase, close to the CPI. That’s called keeping up with inflation

On the other hand, folks that are in a bind will start selling off used stuff. That’s what I’m on the lookout for! I keep buying ammo when I find deals, I’d love to stock up on powder/primers, but from what I can find, ammo is cheaper??
Because of my job, I haven’t been to a gun show in 10 years, used to be my favorite place to buy reloading supplies, I wouldn’t have a clue if that’s still a thing.
