New PA10 owner

So I got a lightly used, if used at all, PA10 in 308 with a 20inch stainless barrel with rifle length adjustable gas block. It has the PSA lightened trigger, but its not 3.5 lbs, it consistently reads 6 lbs on my gauge. I will be running it suppressed. Can’t wait for it to warm up it shoot it.

I am still contemplating get that Magpul stock. It will always be shot from a bench, prone or tripod so I don’t need a lightweight stock. Putting a Triggertech duty 3.5 trigger in it today. Just building up ammo right now for when I can go shoot.

I have the Gen 3 PA-10 20” Stainless barrel with the EPT (Enhanced Performance Trigger) from the factory. My trigger is basically a MIL-Spec AR-15 set that PSA polishes and puts on a Nickel/teflon coating. It works good (not great). I put the JP Enhanced Reliability spring kit on it . That brought the trigger pull from 7# to 4# (greased). Good thing the rifle came with the adjustable gas block, it needed reduced gas pressure for my regular ammo. I expect if you run a suppressor, you will need to turn the gas block way down. But they are good for that.

And for what it is worth (FWIW), I shoot mostly 165gr .308 ammo; with some 150gr and 175gr too.

When I first got the rifle, I added a little weight to the buffer and tuned the gas block to work with 150gr FMJ 7.62x51, the 165gr SST, and 175gr Sierra Match King (OTM).

I bought a lower 9 months ago now, then life happened and I just this week ordered an upper for it.
