Ban the knives they said…..

They’re called assault weapons. Knives is just the name they were originally given back before we knew their potential.

Edit to say this is sarcasm. No voice inflection in a text post.

In before a bunch of whiny Brits try to justify the attack by saying “but it could’ve been worse with guns!!!” as if getting stabbed or slashed is somehow the best case scenario.

Australia did to no avail.

Bayonets are for the intimidation factor.

Dick Cheney is dead at 84.

I…

I’ll just shut up now.

Is there any news on the X5.7 (X57) release?

Not lately.

I wish they would just release it already! It was supposed to have been out earlier this year and then Q4 this year and here we still don’t have any news.

@aaron20 here is the big thread on the x57

Thank you.

PSA X5.7 - August 2025 Product Update | Palmetto State Armory

Here is the latest video by PSA. I guess it won’t be out this year after all. Was hoping to get one for Christmas, guess not.

That video is in the other thread. Please use that thread for discussion on the x57.

I’m not finding that thread, do you by any chance have a link for it? Nothing comes up when I search X57.

I found it. Mybad.

Birdcage-Liner of Record; so salty-grains and all that. My Brother believes it to be an advocacy for Silencers, on the lowdown.

Surprisingly good article from the Times. It was an advocacy there at the end, but I have to ask, who in their right mind shoots a .50 BMG indoors. That would be a very healthy backstop build.

My Brother told me there’s a place in Vegas that rents .50BMG rifles indoor, to shoot. I figure 3-5 rounds of that will Break you of that habit…

Anyway, I still question the data:

How’s an AR and a Steyr, both firing 5.56 out of 16” barrels, the one that puts the muzzle CLOSER to the shooter has such a substantially lower concussive force?

I was scratching my head on that and the 12 GA data as well.
