Anyone know if the Zhukov Magpul stock comes in OD green? From what I can see, it looks like they’ve sold them in the past but everywhere I look shows out of stock or backordered. Also open to other stock recommendations, just really like the functionality of the Zhukov.

Magpul site only shows Black, FDE and PLUM. I could have sworn PA had Green but they don’t - not now anyway

Is PLUM some new fad? I had not seen that until I started hanging out here. Not my thing but if it’s yours go for it - hang that freak flag out!

Unfortunately the plum grip on my AK did not work as an adequate flotation device.

Plum is color of mother Russia furniture. Polymer furniture produced from 84-90s.

yea… i might, idk about the camo tho would have to see… and plum is mellow but not nearly as fire as violet would be… i want bright violet on black.
edit: if i paid to get anything cerakote it would look like a 90s toy

I was so happy to get my PSAK-47 GF3-E MOE WITH M4 STOCK, BLACK. Picked it up today at my FFL, got home, opened the box and…
I absolutely am not posting this to bash PSA. This is my honest to goodness real life experience. I was SO eager to shoot this. I’m totally bummed out. I was so stoked on the drive home to get to the house and post pics of my new AK on this thread. I was going to shoot it tomorrow.
Called customer service and she wouldn’t even start an RMA. She said I have to do it myself on the website.
I was just following what the website says to do. So I wasted 30 minutes on hold for nothing. Now I’m sitting here with a fat booboo lip like a little kid that didn’t get his way 
My next issue is rust does not just disappear or clean off and now this rifle is out of stock. So I have no idea how that’s going to work as far as a replacement?
What really gets to me is I bought a Black Rain 9mm carbine a month back and it was a bullet jamming machine straight out of the box and I had to return that for repair. Now this happens. I always have the worst luck.
I’m seriously nervous to inspect the Dagger, the 5.7 Rock and the AR that also came in the shipment today.
I have faith from what I’ve seen and read in the short amount of time that I’ve been on this forum that PSA will make it right. But it’s going to be a headache. As stated, I’m not posting this to bash PSA. I might just delete this later.

@California_Refugee I think PSA test fires the rifles prior to shipping, not sure though. I’ve seen the same appearing thing in my AK in the same areas and was initially shocked as you are. If it’s what I figured out, it was actually partially burnt lacquer from sealed primers. Regardless, if it was there @ final inspection it should have been cleaned at a minimum before shipping.

BLEM GF3 reached 345 rounds with zero issues today… i only cleaned it once when i first got it before i fired a single round and not since… i interlaced fmj and hp with zero issues, it’s just an absolute beast… mag dump a couple magazines, lots of practice familiarizing myself, it’s pretty accurate needs only a slight adjustment but it’s so slight i still hit the 150yard target with ease. took me a while to be absolutely sure it even needed this adjustment, very smooth absolute banger. im going to take photos of the inside tonight without cleaning as well because it still appears pretty clean tbh, especially after 345 rounds
edit: not posting this to blow my horn. i really really love this gf3 it’s definitely my new favorite. i also plan to get more, i always inspect my stuff at the ffl too, but usually it’s them showing me it’s good like tbh if they didn’t know how would i…

as someone stated its the color of russian furninture from the 80s, however its been big in the ak collecting side of things for years. so its not new.
oh and about the rust in the ak, PSA will take care of you if they havent already. sorry you got a bad one though… shouldnt happen, but sadly it does from time to time.

Still waiting. Submitted a request for RMA and haven’t heard a word back yet. Gonna call again on Monday even thou they said I have to do it online.

how should i run a romeo5 on an AK-P? you mentioned earlier that it doesn’t co-witnesses right? should i just use a riser if i also wanted to try a c-clamp?
The romeo 5 does not cowitness with my 104. The little PA sight i have on my AK-V does lower 1/3 but i really have to cram my head down to get to it.
