PSA Ammo

Anybody know what PSA’s propietary ammo is called? Anyone have a review on them yet? News? Offerings? Specs?

Are you possibly referring to Ammo Inc.? It’s owned by JJE Holdings, the parent company of PSA, if I have my facts straight. I’m certain somebody more knowledgeable than me will chime in soon.

They’re using the AAC name for their ammo

Whoops, I led you astray. It’s terrible getting older and mixing up names.

Ammo inc is not owned by JJE.

AAC is the name of the Ammo, slogan is America’s Ammo Company.

@OP, their 9mm is gtg. Waiting on my order of 5.56 to ship. 300blk is supposed to start being made in July.

Its quite alright. The way they are always in the daily deals I thought they might be as well!

Thanks for the link!

I’ve heard rumors they will be producing 5.7 too. If so I might have to get a Rock eventually.

That is the eventual plan. Steel case also in 2023. All of that is based on supply. Right now they are building their primer plant and will hopefully sell primers to the public also.

Have used the 115gr and 124gr 9mm and no issues.
The 5.56 has ran good as well.
Only issue is with shipping as it takes about 15 days or longer to ship.

Do we know why it’s taking 2 weeks to ship? I’m waiting on both 9 and 556

from what I have read on the forum there are multiple things, number of orders PSA is getting has increased, UPS is not picking up the loaded trailers from PSA.

If you order says “processing” they are working on it. A reminder that the big red banner on the homepage ssys they are priortizing mag shipments due to a law change.

If your order says “label created” then more than likely it is in one of the 7 UPS trailers PSA delivers daily to UPS. Those trailers are not being scanned in at UPS as fast as PSA is delivering them. That is all on UPS and unfortunately nothing PSA can do about it.

Update.
I took the ammo I received to the range over the weekend.
Happy to say I had zero issues with the 9mm or 5.56
Only fired a couple hundred rounds but all the guns ate them.
I already have another order on the way. FYI. Order ammo with other items you need to help spread out the shipping cost!
