PSA emails...why so many?

I like getting an update on PSA offers and news. But a couple a week, or maybe once a day is plenty. Getting 2 or 3 a day is too much. And the deals are pretty much the same in every email.

Am I alone in feeling this way or do others agree

The reality is that emails drive business, even though the flip side is that it turns some people off. I usually do a quick scan and its easy to delete if nothing strikes me.

I’m in the latter group, I turn most newsletters off. But GG is right, they just plain generate more business than they turn away. In the case of PSA specifically, they would have to commit a grievous faux pas to lose my business anyway, so I have unsubbed from the flyers since I pathologically window shop the daily/seasonal deals on the regular.

i am an email minimalist. I prefer maybe at most, one in morning one in evening and truth be known other than PSA any company that sends me more than one email a day i usually unsubscribe from. to me in a perfect world, PSA would send me 1 email a day, and that email would be right after they update the daily deals each day, at like 4 AM instead of 4 PM. that way the daily deal email would be in my inbox when i woke up each morning, and theoretically they would have what the daily deals are in stock still when i did get up and read the emails.

I also unsubscribe from just about every other newsletter except for ones that i really really am interested in or like, even if it is a company i have shopped at many times. I find it does save me money as GG said, without the emails, they dont get the business from me… cause i dont see whats for sale and i dont see things i dont really need other than theyre a good deal. lol… and thats not just PSA but yeah emails do drive business so i get it as to why they send so many

The emails don’t bother me. I’d rather receive an overabundance of them then to miss out on a good deal. They are easy to read and delete.

I agree somewhat with all comments and I too want to be appraised of deals. But, the deals rarely change, or at least don’t seem to be time-critical. As I reviewed that last three weeks of deals, only a few were added or removed in that time. And all of them were repeated in multiple times, in fact, in just about every email. And those that were removed, came back. I did not see any one-time deals that I would have missed if I only read one email a day. In fact, I could skip a day or two and still find the same deals.

But that being said, I would rather have too many than too few.

Yeah. They need to cool it. Do they not know I’m broke?

aren’t we all? :stuck_out_tongue: thanks PSA … for keeping our wallets light but big smiles on our faces.
