It would be so awesome if PSA could make the RIS or RAS drop I quad rails. P&s is out of business. The company that bought them is folding as well. The only sources very expensive knights armament . Or surplus that’s usually pretty salty. They have a premium line that they use these on. And if they were a cheaper source, they would sell more than enough of them to make it worth their while. It’s just an opinion, but there’s a lot of guys I’d like to get their hands on the correct Hand guards and not have to trade in the arm or leg to get one. PSA has the power. It’s a military item so Maybe there’s no problem making them

The polymer company that made for P&S is still around and makes a variety of polymer gun parts. I know P&S had paid KAC for the specs, and iirc the DOD was involved because it was a military contract.

Cage code 8FW25 . And they haven’t produced the hand guards since the last batch that sold elsewhere . I was just lucky enough to get my hands on one.
Prudent makes a variety of things, for a variety of customers including PSA, FN, Colt, OOW, etc. I wonder if KAC took back the rights when P&S folded and they just are not making them anymore.
Sure hope not .OOW? that is the name I haven’t heard in ages. They built the first AK-47 receivers. They only had the fire control holes hardened. All of the other was regular soft steel other than the holes that they heated up. I still have an AK 74 built on that. All my other rifles, I have already switched to NDS. Which Palmetto bought up?
