Selling Gun Parts - How To?…

What’s the latest on a good place to buy and sell used/new ar parts?

A lot of peeps just keep 'em and use for parts for the next iteration or spares ICOE.

The arfcom EE is about the only good place left. Gunbroker and armslist have gone to pot.

I get that but i have a couple of things i don’t want to use and figure I’d sell them off if possible.

Around here we have FB groups where we can buy sell and trade locally. I’m sure all areas have them. I’m in about a dozen. Some are city specific if you’re wanting to do business face to face

Don’t do it on eBay.

That’s what I understand. Was going to list a hand guard. No go.

People essentially have to obey CA gun laws to sell anything firearm-related on eBay. If it’s illegal there, it can’t be listed.

arfcom EE, or just toss it in that box or draw that makes things disappear.

Why a hand guard would be illegal on eBay or California is beyond me. Well…on second thought…. It is California.

Don’t try to use logic. Just stick with your second thought.

Regarding the ‘slick side’ upper, what is up with the forward assist?

How ELSE are you going to jam the rifle?

Not sure what you mean. Was not familiar…

I have never used a forward assist…but l have OCD, they are cleaned that night or next day after. I have one SCH no assist two rear CH agian no assist. The rest do tho.
But for those with CIB’s was probably glad it was there especially in Vietnam.

I agree

It’s often jokingly referred-to as the “Jam Button”.

Sometimes not so jokingly…

Another vote for arfcom EE.

I’ve had to deal with an a1. Sometimes you need it…. Ended up with the a2 and it was a different rifle
