They are available right now. ![]()
great. i think this is similar to the one i ordered a while back as a backup. i hope it has the new extractor. i will have to check that.
So that’s the entire carrier group. I’m looking for just the bolt. I carry a spare bolt in the grips if each of my rifles just in case they fail. I know PSA has a warranty but it doesn’t help get the gun back up in the field or at the range.
Are there any plans to sell the bolt itself? While the entire bcg is at a decent price, I have no use for a spare carrier for the KS47.
KAK Industry just released and enhanced dual ejector KS47 bolt!
dual ejector KS47 bolt? i just picked up my ks lower so i may be interested in this.
thank you f or sharing.
also welcome to the forums @catalyst686
@catalyst686 welcome to the group. Do you have a SKU or part number on that bolt? I looked on their website and only found a dual ejector bolt for a standard 7.62x39 AR rifle. The lugs were not machined down to run in a PSA KS47. Thanks
Here ya go:
@lloyd.kandel Awesome! Thanks appreciate it.
Oh, new KS47 part upgrade…resisting the urge to buy…really I can’t find much of a reason to get one though, other than a mostly theoretical increase in reliability.
They are significantly cheaper than stock KS47 bolts even with the Toolcraft extractor, so that’s cool. I’m interested but not entirely sold on it. Anybody have any experience with dual extractors?
They have dual ejectors, not extractors. It seems like most AR10 bcgs have them, a lot of IWI military rifles have them like tavors and the new carmel. They are used in serious use hunting rifles too. KAK Industry has a bunch of videos of theirs being used and they make the ejection pattern MINT!
Thanks for clarifying… I was wondering about how dual extractors would work.
One reason to get one would be to have a spare bolt. Because can’t buy just the “bolt” from PSA. You have to buy the whole “BCG”! I’ll be ordering one for that reason alone. As it seems PSA isn’t ever going to sell just the bolt. I’ve been wanting to buy a spare bolt since June 2019 when I first bought my KS47. Glad someone finally stepped up to the plate. Thanks KAK Industry.
