T for Texas... T for Tennessee

This historical marker used to be on 31W at the state line of KY and TN. You didn’t mess with Sam Houston!

Texas: Good, God fearing, 2A loving state full of diverse & natural beauty.

Tennessee: Same as Texas. However, if it weren’t for 2 heroes of my beloved Volunteer State, THERE’D BE NO TEXAS! Not to mention that ugly, dirty orange your main state university has. While here in TN, our orange is bright, the way God intended it to be. Also, I’ll stack the atmosphere of Neyland Stadium against ANY university stadium in TX, INCLUDING Kyle Field!

GO BIG ORANGE!

311 miles of that route

Idk if we’re talking about the same school, but the high school I went to in the Memphis suburb of Germantown is named after him, as is the middle school. Houston Middle & Houston High.
