that is so cool. added that to my 2A shortcuts list

I’ve learned a lot watching this guy.

If I still lived in Virginia, I’d sign up for one of his classes in Maryland. He sells out within hours of opening slots.

He also makes a VERY interesting “concoction” for AR lube.

and how many of us are going to be looking in the box/bag that has all the Allen wrenches we have accumulated over the years to find the 1/16 and grind an angle to make one??

nice share

I think I’ve watch all of the SOTAR videos. Lol Very knowledgeable guy. It won’t let me share a link but Brownells sells a pivot pin assembly/disassembly “kit” for $14.95 if anyone is interested.

I would like to see a manufacturer come out with a simpler design, with fewer pieces that don’t break or need replacing.

AKA a 1/4 inch diameter shoulder pin, and a 10-32 Lock Nut. With maybe a washer cut to fit into the profile of the side of the lower.

You need to carry 1 or 2 wrenches to un-mate an upper & lower.

I have 1 or 2 lowers set up with shoulder screws. The rest with the conventional take down pins.

The problem with take down pins is, they can fail at an inconvenient time. That is not possible with shoulder screws.

Get some titanium take down pins

What kind of folding stock adapter you got?
