Talicas are an incredible 2-speed offshore reels with a high gear ratio of 3.8/1. The Talica 50II is the preferred reel in use by Captain Bobby on Daymaker charters. I have personally seen these reels in action against big wahoo, Blackfin and Yellowfin tuna, even large reef sharks are no match for these super tough reel.
