Thanks again Palmetto State Armory. This SKS will be my first military surplus rifle and have been watching videos on disassembly and removing all the cosmoline. This SKS is right about the same age as I am so this will have special meaning bring her back to life. I own an AK-V in 9mm, but this will be my only commie gun in 7.62x39. Good thing because this ammo is cheap and plentiful right now. Now one can only hope this is hand pick with lots of trench art would be icing on the cake. I never win these types of things so this is super cool. Thanks again for the SKS!

An SK was the first rifle I bought after I moved out of my Parents - I absolutely loved the thing. Still have it, and pull it out to run a few hundred rounds through it now and again.
Beware of surplus corrosive primer ammo - it WAS designed to shoot it, just be sure to always clean and oil afterward.
