Happy Birthday US ARMY. Having served for 3 decades I had the privilege of patrolling with some of the finest Americans I know. Being old and disabled now I could still be of service…at least as a half ass decent bullet stopper or do route clearance on a moped with a bayonet. 
I didn’t stay in as long as you did, but I’m old and disabled too. And still willing and able to do mop up as well. Thank you for serving.
