I was interested in buying ak 105 .I saw couple reviews for the AK 105 on Youtube and I saw similar malfunction caused by the tool craft bolt carrier it seems that it is out of spec and it is loose in the receiver .when they changed the bolt carrier to ak74 bolt, the rifle performed flawlessly.
I am not sure if PSA addressed this problem on their ak 105. I want to make sure that they fixed the issue before making any purchases.
Some say it’s an ejector issue and others say it’s a toolcraft issue. But multiple people are having this issue. I asked psa when they were going to address it on Facebook and they blocked me from commenting which was weird
Unless it is QC issue, the demand is so high that it is hard to maintain QC. I dont understand why would they block you for asking question. I mean we want PSA to do better that is why bringing this issues to get fixed.
I’m having similar issues with my 105, a couple light primer strikes, double feed and my ejected cases are coming up deformed. Have you guys contacted PSA or just switched out your bolts for 74 bolts?
I have not bought ak 105 yet. I was doing research about this rifle and I found that people had issues with it. But I would definitely contacted PSA they have the best customer service. They fixes my GF3 before and it works flawlessly.
I’d hold off on buying one. We should all know not to buy anything that’s first Gen from PSA by now, for the exact reasons we’re seeing. These new 105s are rife with issues. It’s so bad I think they’ve removed the entire 74 line from the website AGAIN. They haven’t been for sale in a few weeks from what I’ve seen. Which is sad, seeing as they were pulled early last year and kept off the website for the rest of the year, only to have them removed again after a month a few weeks ago
