Taking 2 weeks off next week to go Deer Hunting. Out on the Range today Checking the zero on my rifle at 100 meters. Fired 2…made a correction. Then 8 more shots…with one of those a flyer. Why 8……cause it’s consistency….not luck.

To me, that’s a really good grouping at 100 meters, although, I was hoping to see the whole rifle

The battery for the scope ….is what’s under the duct tape on the side of the rifle. If I don’t keep it with the rifle….I am liable to forget it…when I pack it to go. I am giddy with excitement…anticipating this year hunting season.

Very nice! May I ask what set up you have? Looks like a Leopold scope, but I cant tell what the rifle is or the caliber. My guess is Ruger .308. Either way, nice job.

IIRC, I think it’s 7.62x39. The magazine doesn’t seem big enough for .308win. Yes, @iznthesky is very happy with his 7.62x39 bolt action. I might join that club too, but getting a little Grendel mania right now
