We lost a member

RIP, had interacted with him on ARF. Seemed like a good guy.

maybe we can find out some info like on his internment after the fact, and get a group of guys to go pay respects to him from here and those on arf who may want to do the same. ?

GuitarGuy had put that bug in my ear, and i thought it a good idea. Even if you didnt personally know him, he was one of us, a 2nd amendment loving patriot. May he rest in peace.

Been in touch with a friend of his. John is located at Ft. Jackson National Cemetery section 13, site 464.
Section 13 is on the backside of the grounds, each section has a marker, and on the backside of each headstone is the grave/site number to make it easier to find the deceased.

Maybe in October those of us that knew him can go meet and pay our respects.

that would be fine with me. it would be nice to get a group together to go say a prayer and send him off… i didnt know him well, but i think its something i’d like to be a part of, just cause he was one of us ya know?

Old thread. I visited John today. Figured he could use a friendly face.
