I do a lot of outlaw, IDPA, AK rifle, AK PCC and pistol competitions. I want to get a video camera I can run that shows me run my course of fire. I know some cameras and mounts go on your hat; some on a rifle picatinny rail (won’t work for pistol), some on a neck lanyard (could move around too much?). What do you use? What brands do you like? What are the pros and cons? I have to make a decision quick, I kind of put it off until the last minute, lol. Thank you in advance.
My kids have Go Pro’s - no idea witch model.
I’ve seen many of their videos, snowboarding -surfing - MC’ing.
Their videos quality is very good.
I have RayBan Meta Headliners. Voice activated, records for up to three minutes per clip. Camera is on the left so unless you’re a lefty it won’t be looking down your sights but it records whatever direction you are looking.
Sample video from my Headliners-
I’ve got a Hero 9 that my boy has basically confiscated, and an Insta 360X4. I love them both for different reasons, though I’ve never used them for shooting.
I think you’d be really happy with either…
Saw this and thought of this thread. Didn’t know they made such a thing! Fits in a TLR1 compatible holster. Audio and video recording starts automatically when you draw.
That right there is one of the coolest gizmos I never knew I needed.
Wow how cool, I thought about getting smart glasses but the good ones cost 2 times what this Viridian cost. Most of my pistols have rail.
Hard to beat the Go-Pro though. Amazing video quality for a cube. 9 million different attachments etc.
