Moved here from CT after someone tried to call down a “red flag confiscation” on me. Like escaping from jail. Love it here and more good folks are moving in from “blue” states.

I love west by god Virginia!!! My home track Summit Point, is there. Can’t begin to guess how much time I’ve spent in WVA. It was on the list of places to move last year. But the area that’s still commutable for my job has filled up.

I did escape this past year from MD. In VA now. Not perfect, and always teetering on the edge. But far better than Maryland. WVA was definitely on the list, but the area closest to my job (Harpers Ferry area) has filled up. It’s such a small slice of pie, it has gotten hard to find a place with enough property to shoot/hunt around there in my price range. I’ve got that now, in between GW’s and R.E.Lees birth places
