Your wildlife pictures are amazing. Ones in the giveaway thread are great too. I hope to surround myself in this luxury sometime.
I’m in a small town countryside in illinois. Not as exciting but still a lot of wildlife here. I have a dead tree in my yard that I refuse to cut down, it attracts and houses a whole barrage of animals. Fun to watch. Send pics of some birds if you have any.
Dang small world. From Campus, this is good inspiration for me.
What’s this guy here in the tree?
Looks like a squirrel with a sweet hairdo
Nice, your other pic was really cool. Neat that they will come up to you like that.
That’s awesome, love some big cats. Cool stuff.
Oh yea great fishing bait
Its been a long time since I’ve seen a bobwhite in the wild out here. Beautiful little birds and I love their call.
And they taste so gd good with Buffalo sauce
I was working at a school about 20 miles away from town. This little guy came up and followed me around. He wouldn’t let me touch him, but he didn’t seem to mind hanging around. I’m the past, if you see them the whole covey would flush and fly off of course. This one may have gotten loose from a pen nearby.
Hit eight on that feeder at once yesterday evening. What can’t be seen is the handful on the other feeder about five yards away, the couple on the little feeder in the middle, and the countless ones buzzing all around either patiently waiting their turn or more likely chasing others off. Filled them up with close to 50 oz of nectar last night, and by the looks of things so far that might be just enough to make it to dusk.
Tried to post a short video, I guess it’s not allowed.

Bull (on the left) and his Harem

I counted him to be a 5 point
Grew up in Louisiana, back in the mid 70’s we would catch crawfish with nets we set out in the ditches along highway 61 around LaPlace. We would wind up with an ice chest full in no time. We boiled them, crabs and shrimp. We could also buy them for 19 cents a pound. We would get a 40 lb sack, and we had a 94 quart pot. We would add crawfish boil seasoning, extra cayenne, put whole onions, corn on the cob, sausage and baby red potatoes in with it. Ice cold Dixie beer… I still have an 80 qt pot and burner…
