Picked up the AK101 this week and had a chance this morning to run 5 mags thru it. Sights were centered but 6" low at 25yds. Function of the rifle and the AC Unity mags were flawless and I hope to get it out to a longer range next week.

I like the idea of 5.56 through the AK platform. ( no buffer tube required ).

Can’t decide between the AK-556 and this. I know I’m getting one of them, just don’t know which one.
I really like the idea of a common magazine between an AR and an AK. Maybe make it look a little like a Galil wannabe.
