Nice

That looks like it uses AR magazines, plus, it says it comes with a side rail mount.

It does.

I think that’s their angle to get AR users into AKs. Once you get used to that smoooooth mechanical action of an AK (especially an AK74), shooting a sporting rifle will never be the same for you.

If im being totally honest with myself, I grabbed my first AK because of video games. THEN i took a mechanical/historical interest in them. Used to be dyed-in-the-wool AR guy. Now, I like em both plenty for different reasons.

Never shot one and dont know much about them, but I sure am excited to get one and start learning stuff. Probably not this ak 556 but could be cool at some point.

Sign me up too, sweet jesus, bulged receiver too??

If im being totally honest too, i did it because a buddy of mine got me into curio and relecs, and while you couldnt get an ak as one, you could buy the kits that were demilled for very very cheap, and my buddy had all the jigs and said hed help me build it. Me being my cheap self, figured that having 125.00 invested in an AK47 sounded like a great deal to me so i bought it. While over the years we did build my AK, there were more expenses than just the 125 bucks for the kit. It still was cheap as hell, and under 300.00 to build a complete gun so i was pleased in the overall price of the gun. After that build i got into AR’s due to another friend. and the rest is history.

AK’s are fun to shoot. youll love it.

Holding out for a 101 as well as many others.
Watching the latest factory videos from the new assembly lines look intriguing. I really like that PSA is manufacturing a lot of items in house vs KUSA who outsources everything with the exception of assembly. I would really like to give PSA a chance with the AK101, but with the issues with quality control, mushrooming carriers, choosy 103 magwells deformed casings, the 105, and the list goes on has me skeptical. Although I’ve been a solid PSA AR Customer since the beginning, Sold Jamin those C10plum And Green 7.62 mags.

This would be the first “US Made” ak Im considering purchasing.

I do not want to be one of the 101 beta testers. Wait for a week or two, receive it with blems and find out it has to be returned due to malfunctioning or out of spec issues.
There are many on the fence waiting for these bad boys the 101 and 102. sure hope PSA pulls through cash is in hand. There is a lot of discontent within the ak community with PSA right now I hope this will be your ,game changer

Is anyone running an ALG trigger in this?

Not in that model specifically, but if an ak will take an ALG trigger, it gets one. Always.

Can the ALG Trigger be installed in the 5.56 AK?

Yes it can. It takes the regular AK trigger, so the ALG will fit.
