Just cut lanes in the grass of the back 40 to my “range” for sighting in once the temps drop back below triple digits.
I decided this year to take my late Father-in-law’s Savage Model 170 30-30 out of my safe, where it has resided since 1978 when he passed away. The old Weaver scope had deteriorated and fogged up, so I put a Nikon 3-9X32 on it. Finally located some ammo and sighted it in. I’m planning to take a couple of whitetails this season with it.
