Locals call it the ‘Forgotten Coast’ from Port St Joe to St Marks. My wife and I used to live in Callaway just west of Tyndall AFB. We loved to drive from Mexico Beach all the way to Apalachicola, Carabelle and beyond on day trips all along the coast. It still looks like the old Florida - not over commercialized and no high rise condos to destroy its heritage.
