First build

Just received my PSA 16" CHF A2 MID-LENGTH 5.56 NATO 1/7 13.5" LIGHTWEIGHT M-LOK MOE EPT RIFLE KIT - 5165448203 the other day. Very excited to assemble my first AR. I’m completing my first P80 G19 build now. Not a hard process so far. I like what I’m doing but I do have one question… there are so many videos displaying so many ways to remove the inner channel where the guide rod sits. What is the best way to remove that excess material?

Steel Cased vs. Brass

With this crazy ammo shortage, I’ve used some steel case ammo in both my S&W 9mm Shield, and my PSA kit AR-15. So far, I haven’t experienced any failures with the 9mm, but out of less than 200 rounds of Wolf brand steel cased 5.56, I had to stuck cartridges. It took knocking them out with a cleaning rod to free both of them. On the back of shell you could see where the ejector tried to grip it, but could budge the cartridge. PSA ambi changing handle?

Looking to get the PSA ambi charging handle when it’s available. Also wondering about the handle size if it’s to big?

Side charging upper

If you decide on getting a side charging upper make sure to T-tape the plug for the charge handle channel. At minimum put on an o-ring. Mine arrived with an o-ring installed but I also T-taped it anyway. Some ppl don’t think of this and get pissed when they get a little gas to the face… I guess I’d be pissed if someone let loose some gas to my face too
