Let’s talk about Beretta APXs here.
I think they’re truly an under rated great pistol. They’re overlooked in most cases but are excellent choices.

I like them. It took a few tries before getting used to how the takedown lever works, and it is a little stiff the first few times so disassembly marginally took more effort. The slide serrations make it ridiculously easy operate.
Definitely an underrated gem.
idk… if you are left handed and live in california its not terrible…
I love this model - it’s reliable, it’s accurate, and it’s extremely affordable. The only knock is that there isn’t a huge aftermarket for it, but JM Custom Kydex makes holsters for it, and Beretta actually has a pretty good selection of parts. Moreover I even believe that Berettas are the prettiest guns ever.
Seriously considering one.
Same
Less than $300 OTD with rebate with fiber optic irons? That’s hard to pass on.
I just bought one…
YOLO.
Stands for a complete sentence.
How do you like the trigger on that model? I have heard mixed reviews about it. Thought about buying one but with the current version on sale with a rebate for basically the same money I’m still on the fence.
That is a really good price. Not sure why some of the newer Berettas are not popular. I have a PX4 and they were not popular, when I bought it. It is a sweet shooting hammer compact gun. I suspect many Beretta owners prefer hammer vs striker fired pistols.
It does seem a bit on the stiff side, but nothing obnoxious. I’ve seen some of the complaints, and I don’t agree with them. I think they’re overblown.
I’m confident that a few hundred rounds through this gun will break everything in nicely.
I just ordered a second one…
Look what I just found on my first APX ![]()
Then I found this……
As of January 2024, Beretta still manufactures the first generation APX to fulfill existing contracts with military and police agencies, though only the A1 models are available on the civilian market
Awesome
We’re getting brand new guns that aren’t wanted
I’ll take 12 please ![]()
Love the Beretta APX for $299 its a steal, i’d buy one if I didn’t own one already. The first gen slide make it stand out.
I snagged the APX A1 carry for a deal a few weeks ago. I was looking to upgrade from a Kimber micro .380 to a 9mm for a carry pistol. Out of the box, it is tight! Not tight like youngster slang, tight like the slide didnt want to return to battery. After working it out and some additional lube, the old girl is good to go.
No malfunctions on the range yet. Have about 200 rounds through it. No feeding issues there.
My only real gripe is the trigger. The trigger pull is horrible. I know my way around synthetic firearms but this particular trigger is very difficult to predict the break point. This may improve in time but even if it doesn’t, not a big deal. It holds 6 inch groups at 25 yrds(bench). Impressive considering the poor trigger.
Either way, yes, I would recommend this firearm to anyone looking for a quality carry pistol. For the price point, you can’t go wrong. Hope this helps someone.
Jrat
USPS, grrrr
That’s how my last two came
P320 was Fed Ex
Both standard, not upgraded shipping
I’d complain
Paid extra for priority a waste of money on the shipper, absolutely on their end. AIM has been spot on.
