I want to put a PSA a2 20” upper on my colt 6920 lower. In my research I have only seen one mention that could come with problems. Any advice is appreciated, I’ll be shooting 55g and 62g if that matters. Thanks everyone!
You may have to change a buffer as the A2 is the rifle length gas system and the Colt 6920 has a carbine set up with adjustable stock. In other words, depending on what buffer you have the ammo may not cycle the action.
Rifle buffers are usually 5-5.20z, and a carbine buffer is far lower. You may have to go up to an h2 or h3.
Thank u!
Follow up question , I would not need change the buffer for a 20” ar barrel ?
You may need to change the buffer. That isnt known until you shoot it.
