for reference…I have the
11.5" 5.56 1/7 Phosphate 10.5" Lightweight M-Lok MOE EPT SBA3 Pistol
I am new to the forum. I have a PSA ar-15 build with an A2 front site that I want to replace with a high rise piccitany rail gas block. The pins in securing the A2 front site to the barrel are typically tapered meaning they will only seat in one direction and remove in the other. I have not been able to figure out if they remove left to right or right to left. Has anyone already figured this out? I have ground the pins flat so that I can get a punch to stay put while trying to drive the pin so I can longer put a micrometer it.
I have a PSA mid length upper with the A2 front sight and it shoots far to the right. To zero at 25 meters I need to move the rear sight 16 clicks left from center. This can’t be right.
I though maybe it. I am using magpul sights. I even tried swapping the rear sight from another upper. Still the same results, 16 clicks left from center to zero.
I just purchased an AR-15 kit from PSA for me and my 2 sons to assemble. The kit did not have any type of instructions so we can make sure the build is completely correct. From what I saw online at the PSA website, the manuals did not come with building instructions. Can anyone advise me on how to find the best building instructions? Thank you!
Thank you!
very helpful link!
Im looking at the PSA lowers for an AR15 build. Can anyone explain the differences between the freedom v the stealth v the classic lowers? They all seem the same, but yet have different price points.
The handguard is different. One has a full picatinny rail along the top and a QD mount on each side.
Hey guys I’m new to the AR world. I recently purchased the PSA PA-15 5.56 CLASSIC STEALTH AR-15 PISTOL 11.5" CARBINE 1/7 PHOS. BTR. With the new law that passed I’m in the process of Swapping the barrel to a 16" barrel and putting a floating rail on it. (Just trying to avoid having to register my gun with ATF). I recently purchased a 16" barrel and floating rail but the the thread on the rail was bigger than the thread on the upper. Any recommendations on what to do?
I got one also, and, it’s a PSA. I like it. The wings on it, because; I shoot stag.
Question from someone who’s never bought an AR. Will this upper and lower work together for a 5.56 AR? When they say complete, can I just fit them together and its ready to shoot, or do I need to buy any separate parts or do any drilling or milling?
PSA 16" Classic M4 Freedom Upper No BCG & Charging Handle, OD Green | Palmetto State Armory
Blem PSA Complete Classic AR-15 Lower, Black | Palmetto State Armory
you would still need a charging handle and bolt carrier group…the lower would need to be shipped to a FFL
Anyone know if I can use the Dead Air Sierra 5 with P&W JMAC GFHC-E that comes on the Sabre rifles? I found a reply to a post on AR15.com from the PSA account stating some suppressors that would work but the Sierra 5 wasn’t mentioned although from my understanding/knowledge, I don’t see why it wouldn’t be compatible especially with the Dead Air Key-Mo adapter.
Someone on the PSA reddit post I made mentioned they test fit a Sierra 5 on their JMAC GFHC-E flash hider and that it seated/locked into place but no functionality testing was done. Would like to see if anyone knows any real info/currently uses the Sierra 5 on the GFHC-E.
Functions check on PSA lower? not sure if these work like a regular AR but the one I just got doesn’t seem to let me do a complete functions check. Like squeezing the trigger and pulling the handle, I don’t get the click, it just doesn’t charge. Is that the way these work?
Father’s of Freedom bcg and PSA Ambi Charging Handle.
PA15 16" 5.56 nitride – switch to 9mm ?
Upper and mag/mag conversion block needed only?
Am I missing something?
How do I go about finding an AR-15 with a bullet button? My state requires it. Sadly…
I’m having an issue with the A2 flash hider on my new PSA AR15. Out of the box the FH was apparently loose. I’ve just hand tightened it for the time being, but I need suggestions on the fix. I do not have access to a vice currently. Can I use a wrench to tighten with blue loc-tite?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
