what do y’all think will happen in the next few years with guns and ammo restrictions? just wondering what other peoples thoughts are.

Well hard to talk about that without talking about Current Events, including some rather Grim Events - mass shootings in the US.

There was a time period in 2017 & 2018 when the US had a mass shooting with a double digit body count, about once every 2 months. Starting with the Vegas shooting in October 2017.

There is a category of building that has been free of mass shootings, basically forever. Courthouses. Metal Detector + Armed Guard. (it doesn’t work so well if the armed guard HIDES like in the Parkland incident).

Common Sense would say … Metal Detectors EVERYWHERE.

Instead of talking about what works, the conversation is taken in a different direction. “Outlaw guns.”

I would like to see the NRA or ANOTHER gun rights organization, start making the Metal Detector solution happen in one state, possibly a state which allows open carry. So then you have a combination of metal detectors, and the Customers in a store (that have guns) function as the Armed Guard, if there is a mass shooting.

Gun Grabbers could whine about that possible solution.
Keep accurate statistics and their whining will matter less.

Today’s world is a crazy and scary one. I’m sure most of us here are gun-enthusiasts or at least pro-gun, but if not, what is your reasoning?

I would like to pitch the idea of a left eject PSA Rock 5.7 I believe PSA would be stepping into a huge market with this addition!

By any chance does anybody know a range of model numbers of the PSAK74 “classic” that were out of Spec? Trying to narrow down my chances of owning one before starting a warranty claim… Seems that PSA is well-aware of the problems, but for some reason did not recall those firearms. Any help is appreciated!

In communities like this, especially where firearms and personal freedoms are often front and center, having a spot to talk about broader topics—whether it’s industry trends, legislation, or just day-to-day experiences—is valuable. I appreciate the reminder that it’s not a marketplace but a conversation hub.
