Advantage Arms 22lr conversion w/ Dagger frame

I want to purchase an A.A. 22lr conversion slide to use with my Dagger compact frame. Does anyone here have experience with this combination? I’d be interested in hearing the good, the bad, and the ugly. Thanks!

I was going to do the same exact thing but I stopped myself I just bought myself a dedicated 22 long rifle pistol

That was a thought I had too, but a new BS regulation is going through in WA state beginning '24. The conversion slide would be really easy to put to use one of my neglected frames.

Recently ordered a G44 for cheaper training. I figure the controls all being similar to my Dagger would serve it’s purpose well. Got nervous about buying another Dagger frame and the conversion slide and ending up with something that would be hard to make work.
Hope I’m not heading down a rabbit hole.

Have a G44 and P322. Both are close to their big brothers and are a lot cheaper per round. I use them at the range to practice fundamentals. I always finish range time with the dagger and P320 in 9mm.

What did you end up doing? I was in the same boat looking at conversion kits but then I saw Keltex P17 and Taurus TX22 seem to actually be cheaper for a dedicated pistol, also with higher capacity and threaded barrel options. The conversion kit would be nice to simply get shipped to your door though so I was still considering it.

Purchased a couple months ago and used on two compact lowers. I’ve had issues with the ejector not releasing on a few rounds on the FDE color lower. On my black lower no issues. I don’t get it. Also use Advantage arms 25 round magazines and it might be one of them not feeding right. Other than that, I do like it and its cheaper as you know on ammo at the range.

I just tried out my AA kit on the dagger, after glancing over this thread. Ran good enough for plinking. Only one FTF, but seemed like a mag issue. Grip of course feels far better with the dagger compared to the p80 that was made specifically for the AA kit as a dedicated 22lr pistol

using the 10 rnd mag it came with no issues for me.

Bought the 44’s, got rid of them, only good point was to train for failure to fire and jammed brass.
Also working on the Anderson Arms .22 3rd Gen slide.
Cannot get the Red dot to zero, sure would like to buy a Dagger Compact slide & red dot combo…
