its actually really simple. there is a retainer plate in place of the original retainer spring, which makes it much easier. basically you remove the safety selector then remove the retainer plate, and once that is done the fcg will basically come right out. if memory serves when you begin to remove the retainer plate the hammer will jump if your not careful as you may have it cocked, so i’d be sure to uncock it. also the trigger pins should just come out, there is no need to hammer or anything, if they dont, just jiggle it a bit till they do seem loose and then they should come out. becuase if they dont they’re probably hung up on the retainer plate groove. then just reverse for reinstall.
Bring every tool you have to the bench. I think a BFS with some painter’s tape on the end and my chunky needlenose pliers is what fibally worked for me. The screwdriver became a hammer for the pins.
Oh, and get a twist tie for hammer spring
the twisty tie is a good idea … forgot about that. my hammer just jumped when i swaped out my standard ak trigger to the alg one 2 weeks ago.
I shot my 104 today that has this trigger. I managed to get a double. With a little more practice i can get a longer string.

It’s a darn good trigger. I bought one recently for an m85 Zastava i have trying to fix the worst trigger slap I’ve ever dealt with on a gun. The problem still exists but it made it a lot better
