Hi, I just finished putting together my first gun an AR-15.
But I really wanted was an AK so I scrounged up my shekels and because of my impatience I decided to pull the trigger on a PSAK-47 GF5 furniture ready kit. And just buy the furniture later.
But in my haste I didn’t check and see if the kit comes with things such as:
Pin retainer plate
Pins for the trigger assembly
hammer and hammer springs
hardware to install furniture (screws and bolts)
I am also aware some of these things might come with any furniture and parts I purchase. But since this is my first time putting together an AK I was not sure.
I have also been looking at a ALG trigger, but noticed there not instock on PSA’s website but the PSA customs ALG trigger is. What is the difference I read there might be problems with it gouging the bolt.
If you buy a PSA AK trigger (such as their EPT) they come with trigger pins, the main spring, retainer, etc. The ALG does not come with all those to my knowledge. You will need to buy those items.

I see PSA sells a custom ALG trigger will it work for a GF5 I heard the PSA custom one is meant for the AK-V.
PSA does indeed have an ALG trigger that has some tweeks over the normal ALG AKT. It is meant for PSA AKs. I have one in my 104.

you are correct from the description it has cut outs so that it will work with the ak-v, but yet still will work without issue in any other PSA AK produced.
I have a standard ALG in my PSA AK-P and love it.
