Saw that the AK 5.56 doesn’t have an ALG trigger in it apparently due to clearance issues. How much worse is the trigger in the 5.56 AK compared to the ALG?

I havent specifically shot that PSA trigger. Have used their NIB and it was good. I have ALG in my 104 and my AK-V. I would recommend getting the 101 with the ALG.

I’ve got the Ni-B trigger in my -102 and it’s excellent. I prefer it to the stock trigger that the rifle shipped with.
The ALG triggers are much too light for my tastes.
I’m not a fan of “too light” either but PSA’s mod to the ALG for the price point? Unbeatable. May or may not have it but definitely love my experience with it.
IMHO ALG AK triggers are my preferred AK trigger, but they’re also very overrated. What I mean by that is some like a Tapco G2 trigger is 95% as good as an ALG AK trigger IMO. In fact the main reason I prefer the ALG trigger is because it’s flatter. IMO the ALG AK trigger is good, but the improvement over other AK triggers is not like going to a highend, 2 stage AR trigger compared to a basic AR mil-spec trigger. In an AR I personally would give the PSA EPT the edge over the ALG triggers if we’re comparing single stage, mil-spec based triggers.
BTW I have not tried a PSA AK trigger, so I can’t compare them specifically to the ALG AK triggers. Also in generally I believe that most AK triggers are pretty decent, but not necessarily the best triggers, but rarely if ever have I been just straight disappointed with an AK trigger.
Do you know if the PSA Custom NiB trigger will fit in the 5.56 AK?

For clarification are you asking about the AK that has the 5.56 magwell (i.e. looks like an AR magwell)?
