Always be safe with your KS-47...in fact be Super Safe

did you need to change the bcg to get the super safety to work? the standard bcg is a semi auto cut, isn’t it?

You need a much heavier buffer.

No, my KS-47 BCG is a full auto cut. It’s one of the original Gen 2, so I don’t know about the enhanced they use now, but I’m pretty sure all PSA bolt carriers are full auto cut. My 10.5” has a PSA adjustable gas block and I’m using a rifle length buffer spring and a KAK Ind. variable buffer with 2 tungsten and 1 steel weight.

I did start to have issues with the Super Safety stopping the BCG and causing the BCG to fail to return to battery. It looked like I had got some slop in the arm, so I took an earbud pad and used it as a centering device. Seems to be working fine now.
