Anyone dropped a super safety into their KS47? Might try it out.
Been thinking about getting either the Super Safety or Super Selektors. Atrius the maker of the Super Selektors won’t return my emails to answer a couple of questions I have, so I am now leaning towards the Super Safety.
well since you mentioned it.. i just finished the build on my ks… i got a good trade on an upper… and i might be able to go find a super safety somewhere.. .they were at the gathering so it shouldnt be too hard to find them..
Guys on Youtube dropped an AS Designs into their Jackal and it ran perfectly.
Ahhhhh😫 saw this a day late. Promo is over and they are out of them😭
Yes i have its a direct drop in no tuning needed with factory buffer and spring on carbine gas. It rips.
thats awesome.. welcome to the forums! we’re glad to have you!
I have… Tested it out Monday and it ran like a champ!
I got my SuperSafety from Grey Market Research…
thats awesome. so glad to hear it ran successfully… from what i hear they are a lot of fun. the one i saw at the gathering sure looked fun for sure.
Did you add the Super Safety? I’m looking at that mod too. From what I’ve seen, a buffer spring & buffer upgrade are recommended.
Also adding a suppressor & adjustable gas block..
Curious about what people have found that works & what doesn’t
I have this on pa15, its the AS designs version. I have an adjustable gas block and an armaspec pcc buffer. I had to trim the upper flush to the locking lug and I am using the centering block on the reset arm also dont forget anti walk pins. I have the gas turned down to cyclce slow, roughly 700 rds/ sec everything I have read shows that us the safest. So far so good. I havent mag dumped back to back but seems to be ok. Not seeing wear on any of the parts. Maybe 500 rds so far and counting. I eventually wanna get a PCC set up for this, 556/223 rounds are pricey
Deeznuts tactical has them for $120 but the AS designs one when paired with reduced power FCG springs (prolly not a good idea) gave me a 3.5 lb pull.
I had to run a heavier buffer. Went with a KAK adjustable one that came with extra weights to fine tune it.
I just talked with a friend of mine last night - he’s treating these triggers like Pökemön — gotta get ‘em All. He’s got FaRT triggers and Super Safeties for guns he doesn’t even own yet.
I’m with him. I think we need to make the guys manufacturing these at least well-off, if not nominally rich. These need to become ubiquitous, and I mean right now.
Hoffman should be a National Hero.
Myth Industries makes a fairly affordable super safety that fits nicely in the KS-47 gen 2 lower
Im gonna have to go to check this out. I wonder if its any different than the standard AR super safetys that ive seen .
It’s not. It’s a CNC’d replication of the Hoffman Tactical Super Safety. I highly recommend the metal banded anti walk pins with it
10-4.. i usually use the anti walk pins on my builds just in case on standard noncartridge trigger packs.
