I dont know if there is a best…but there is alot out there. The AZ Regulator is the newest i have seen. I have a ASDesigns super safety which is simply a metal version of the hoffman super safety.

I’ve looked at a video of Hoffman Super Safety installation and they were filing down corners on the trigger. Looked like extra work I don’t need. How is the Super Safety you have installed working for you?

The one i have came with a modified trigger. We shot it at The Gathering and we saw a PSA ar15 ($400) go 1500+ rounds with no maintenence.

i have the Alamo 15 its awesome, but its only 2 position

i would suggest one with 3 positions, if you plan on shooting normal

I really hope Rarebreed doesn’t try to sue everyone out of existence, but I think their settlement requires them to try. It’s such an unnecessary cost and hassle for everyone for such a great, though sadly necessary, workaround to shoot full (semi-)auto.

First things first, I am not a lawyer…

But from what I understand, only the Rare Breed brand and their triggers have a settlement. So the ATF could possibly go after other manufacturers and designs for “machine gun” reasons if Rare Breed doesn’t go after them for patent reasons.

I’m thinking the best result right now would be some sort of royalty/license to where any other “variants” would still be covered under the settlement since they would be licensed to use “Rare Breeds design” which has already been determined to be legal.

I could also be completely wrong because again, I am not a lawyer.

The hoffman is nothing like the frt rare breed makes. They cannot claim any kind of infringment.

While you’re technically correct, I understand that Rare Breed is even going after anyone selling “Super Safety” design selectors. This despite the design being publically available on the interwebs as a 3D print file.

But I really have no pony in this race as I live in Florida; and despite the continuous freedoms being returned to us 2A supporters, we still have the ban on bump stocks, FRTs, and any other device which can potentially allow one to maximize one’s rate of fire.

Hence DeSantis loss. Too big to rig 2026.

We’ll see. Maybe if we craft some strongly worded emails and pen a few strongly worded letters…

Who are we kidding? Break out the check book.

welcome to the forum!

The link a few posts above is NOT to Rare Breed’s official website. The official website is rarebreedtriggers.com for anyone interested.

Scammer gone.

This is to update you on frt in the state of Florida, I contacted rare breed triggers and purchased one, I asked about shipping to Florida is possible and legal, they informed me that it is perfectly legal to purchase and have it installed in your weapon. Binary triggers are not legal in Florida. Hope this helps.

Tom Hanks Hello GIF
A few of the other manufacturers disagree.

Some manufacturers will ship to FL and some will not. It is still a little bit of a gray area.
