I’ve been shooting mostly Muzzle Loader getting ready for Hunting season, so I really haven’t used up any ammo. . . . Don’t feel real inclined to buy any unless a see a super deal (Almost back to 2018 price) 
I reload. It amazes me how I can go to the range early in the morning and pick up a couple hundred buck worth of brass. Guys just leaving it behind. Oh well, one mans trash is another mans treasure. I don’t even pick up 9mm anymore unless my son wants some, I have plenty of .223 also but always looking for .45 . Been thinking of starting to reload for my x39, Might be a bit late so I should find some brass before there’s a run on brass x39 and there won’t be any left. The hard part is finding primers.
Most of my practice is dryfiring. When I go to the range I try to maximize my practice and do drills but most of the practice is dryfire.

Yet yesterday: The Biden Administration announced on Friday it would stop approving new permits to import Russian-made ammo and guns. The ban will go into effect on September 7th, 2021. It is part of a new round of sanctions against the Russian government over its poisoning and imprisoning of dissident Aleksey Navalny.
Alexei Navalny was poisoned in Aug. 2020 (9 months Before the pipeline waiver ) so the Russians are good enough guys in May 2021 to get a pipeline waver, but 3 months later they are so evil they get no new ammo or firearm importation permits?
This is a Blatant attack on the ability of gun owners to obtain ammunition and firearms in what is already a year long ammo/firearm shortage.
The Biden Administration has attacked the ownership of guns through the ATF by mudding the water as to what is/isn’t lawful to own, and now is using a year old incident as a ruse de guerre to get away with denying Americans access to the tens of millions of rounds of inexpensive ammunition produced by workers in Russia every year.
i’ve not purchased ammo since before the covid pandemic started. I’d had stocked up…
@seanGadhar you are right about what you wrote about the biden admin. Not to mention they just left all that US equipment and Arms in Afghanistan, for the Taliban… when i cant own a full auto anything without spending 25k-50k, they get the stuff for free… on my tax dimes… grrr.
They left 600,000 rifles and a unknown number of pistols. I am not even going into the number of other machine guns and crew served weapons that were left. Those SOB impeach Trump over made up bullshit but Biden gets a pass no matter how bad he screws crap up. What really gets me going is there is only a handful of Republicans that are really outspoken on Bidens disasters. You now have the perfect storm for terrorists with plenty of weapons and a open southern border to really inflict some damage here in the US.
Careful how you speak of the Biden Administration Sir. That kind of talk can get you banned in some social media circles. For instance, the Grand Ayatollah of Iran can chat away on social media but not a for a former POTUS. Some African warlords can threaten to shut down internet connection to the people in his land and he can chat away BUT a politician has a dissension argument and its Facebook Jail or the Twitter Gulag. Talk of the Biden Administration will have you walking a tightrope.

I have never been on Facebook and I never will be. I don’t do social media at all. I belong to a few forums and that is the total extent of my social media. I wouldn’t last a day on Facebook before I would get banned. Too many snowflakes whining about how everything is unfair, how everyone else is racist and how bad our Country sucks. I just couldn’t take it without saying something back so I would be banned for sure.
Yep. I had a Facebook Account and got banned seven times in two years throughout the 2016 Presidential Election cycle. Heaven forbid I should have an opinion that is my own and not agree with the WorldWideWeb. I now have an account on this site and email. That is about the extent of my social media footprint.

And now to make things even worse terrorists don’t even have to come through our southern border. Now we are giving them free airplane rides from Afghanistan to America. Then our tax dollars are giving them another free airplane ride to an unknown city in America. Then we are paying to settle them in a unknown city to us. When you randomly bring in tens of thousands of unvetted Afghani people in to America the likelihood of Taliban and Al qaeda terrorists now being in America is now a certainty. This is absolutely pure insanity.

If one American citizen doesn’t get out of Afghanistan or if one American citizen is killed in Afghanistan then that dumb SOB should be held criminally and civilly responsible. That won’t ever happen because he has immunity and can’t be charged not to mention being apart of the ruling class elite. This crap gets me so wound up that I am going to have to go up on my blood pressure medication…

You never ever leave anyone behind!!! This is one of the first things that you learn in the military. You take care of your own… Deliberately leaving people behind without even really trying to get them out in the old days would get an Officer or NCO killed by his own men. It is something that you just don’t do. If you do then all the soldiers know that they could very well be the next one that was left behind without regard for them or anyone else.
There is so much to learn, so much that we owe it to those who fought there, those who died there.
1st NEVER again support any use of our Troops where a clear concise end strategy can not be expressed by those in charge.
2nd Remember whatever side you are on politicly, any mess You let “YOUR GUY” get us into. . .expect that “THEIR GUY” will end up with his grubby little fingerprints all over it as well. . . so you better be damn sure we need to be there.

I hate to say it but as long as the Congress critters can get their political agendas and force it on our Military you never will get a clear and concise strategy with a reasonable exit strategy. POTUS has a lot to do with setting the tone of how our Military is gone to operate. It seems like the Congress critters screw the pooch more on average by their constant meddling in things they don’t understand or don’t want to understand. Operating in free and peaceful country is totally different than operating in a hostile war torn country where everyone wants to kill your ass. Congress critters just can’t grasp the concept that what works at home doesn’t work in a hostile environment. Right now Biden is a prime example of just how bad a long time Congress critter can royally screw things up for our Military. If he would have left our Military alone to do the planning and execution of getting out of Afghanistan we wouldn’t have 40 thousand American citizens left in Afghanistan. Our Military damn sure wouldn’t have left 89 billion dollars of our military hardware over there.
