1 new comment leeshermag 5/26/20 I’ve been trying to set up my first AR15 PISTOL, I have Ozark flip up sights and wanted to add a red dot to my gun and wanted to still be able to use the open sights. I purchased a TruGlo TRU-TEC MICRO but it appears to low, the red dot is obstructed by the rear sight ring. Should anyone have any idea, do I need to raise the red dot or just get a new one.
You could always get a set of 45 degree offset mounts for your iron sights like these:

Do not but these, they are crap. Daniel Defense has an offset mount for around $45.
I would go with the offset mount for your iron sights. I will be adding some to my AR pistol build here soon.
