Yes, 9mm pcc guns can have more issues. I shot my ARV yesterday without a hiccup, but was mainly shooting FMJ.

Jammed up again after a few shots. Hornady, Speer Gold Dot and Norma defense rounds. Tried multiple PSA AK-V Mags to no avail.
That looks like an extractor malfunction, i.e. the case isn’t seating properly.
@Josiah_PSA can you take a look at this one please.
Sorry, new to the AR world. How do I test or look for an extractor malfunction? What GuitarGuy states appears to be happening.
What you’ve already done and taken photos for is pretty much how you test for it. Extractor issues can cause Failure to Feed. While its name provides the idea that it just removes a round, it also holds onto the round during seating. I could normally help try and get this taken care of, but the reason I asked Josiah for his input is he has options available to him that I might not, and is a little more diverse into taking care of issues involving repairs and our Warranty.

PCC can be very finicky, and its usually a result of the length of the round. With the pistol caliber being so short, you cant really have the same type of feed ramp system like you see in the longer rifle calibers. This makes a short and drastic feed ramp. Also, with the blowback style, the BCG cant lock into place like it does with Gas Impingement. A lot has to line up and happen almost perfectly in a very short distance and time. Sometimes this takes some tweaking, especially if you are using ammo that isnt round nosed like traditional ball ammo. Ball ammo tends to be a little more forgiving and helpful because the tip of the projectile doesnt have anything to really catch on.

Not yet, PSA test fired and recognized the issue. They have had it in their repair shop awaiting repairs. I will post when I hear anything else. Hopefully soon! 
Just my 2 cents here. I don’t expect my AK-V or AR-V to cycle hollowpoints.
I have glocks for that.
No doubt it will dump lead, but I don’t hold it to that high of a standard.

I’ll add to the conversation, since Glock or Glock style handguns have a barrel that pivots up as the round is loaded it allows for feeding hollowpoint / defensive rounds reliably. Our blowback guns don’t have a pivoting barrel so hollow points can get hung up on the feed ramp. Not a faulty design just the way it is
Hollowpoints in 9mm sub guns have been an issue since they were invented. Not all guns/barrels can handle them. Not even all semiautomatic handguns can feed reliably. Ramped barrels in 1911s became a thing because of hollowpoints.

I don’t have any Neighbors. They all got shot up cause there PCC’s jammed with hollow points.
Using a defense tactic that is unproven will get you shot.
That Gun will jam no matter what you expect of it,
Unless you use FMJ.
I choose other weapons for self-defense.
That mob will overtake you in a heartbeat with unproven tactics.
I appreciate everything PSA has done, definitely a company that cares about customer service. And, cares about the product they deliver.
