ATF Launches new eForms Platform

This is no coincidence.

This has been launched, now, to make the process of registering all those stabilizer equipped ARs and AKs as new Form 1 SBRs.

That impending rule change should be coming shortly, along with the frame and receiver nonsense.

MARTINSBURG, WV – Earlier today, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) announced the imminent launch of a new electronic system for NFA transfers. Known as the eForms system, this overdue modernization will allow consumers to submit both ATF Forms 1 and 4 electronically, hopefully resulting in a significant decrease in transfer times when compared to traditional paper Forms.

According to ATF, the transition to the new system will occur sometime after December 15th, but before Christmas. The new eForms system will handle all existing NFA transfer forms, including the ATF Form 4.

I think this is BS. These guys are true clowns, I am a Veteran and fought for my Freedom.

They launched it years ago and it crashed shortly afterwards. Look for this to do the same.

I wouldn’t expect anything less

None of it will be decided on or changed I think.
Plus I’m in illinois sbr’s are illegal here, they just gonna come take my guns? Nope lol me and millions of others, get out of here.
I dont understand why IL wouldn’t want to make money from sbr n suppressors

While I hope you’re right, I’m not as optimistic. They don’t care about your problems turning a pistol into an illegal SBR in Illinois. They expect you to turn it into a 16” rifle and eat the cost. Or surrender it :joy:

Illinois hates all guns. Unless you’re a gangbanger on the West or Southside of the city. Then you help their bullshit narrative…

This just seems WAY too convenient on their end. Just because they’re blatantly wrong and infringing doesn’t mean they’ll stop trying. They’re persistent if nothing at all…

Doesn’t apply to me. Guns are icky and SBR’s are especially creepy.

All I have is precession cordless hole
Punches.

That was how they decided to identify…

Yea IL sucks the big one. Sad it’s mostly a red state filled with rooting tooting rednecks who dont wanna be F’d with yet Chicago and Springfield dictate our politics. I think next year there will be alot of places and things you wont be able to do unless your fully vaccinated. Our criminal gov is a disgrace to the state and the human race in general. Hes a federal puppet and hated.
Another billionaire who doesnt pay taxes and probably contributes to illegal weapons, drugs, and trafficking. It’s in his interest since hes incapable of being a good human. ■■■■ him entirely.

Precision cordless hole punches…lmao…I will use that one before the weekend is over

Dear Illinois residents,

Tennessee has a lot of Real Estate for sale even as we speak. Come on down.

Aw that’s really nice of you. That state is on my list of possible moves :sunglasses:

Like ∅bama’s vaunted insurance site. They only wasted a billion of our dollars on it.

Only a Billion? Methinks thou art the Eternal Optimist.

Kansas is pretty open too. Really laid back 2a laws and the Jayhawks are cool too

What is a stabilizer equipped AR or AK? I’ve heard of braces and stocks but never a stabilizer?

Plus, yeah, the ATF is the embodiment of a corrupt and freedom stealing government. I can’t stand those guys since they pretend they are congress by changing rules, and getting away with it whenever a dem is in office. Maybe the GOA or FPC will sue.

AR pistol

AR pistol with stabilizing brace

Same gun, just fully built out the way I wanted

The feds are going to do everything they can to get rid of AR-15’s.
With these new forms and more IRS agents, we will then be taxed for owning the firearm.
The states will have to provide the records for all firearms in there database.
They will also set a fed tax for new purchases of AR-15’s.
I read somewhere that we will have to register ammo purchases as well, more fed taxes.
The real problem is that they can get away with this. Hopefully, there is an online petition that we can sign against this. Formatted letters we could all send our state representatives can help as well.
Just my thoughts,
Wa
