the only bolt action that i have is a marlin model 25 .22lr. I am hoping to build one of the new psa guns when they come out with it. i’ve always wanted to do a rem 700 sniper clone build but havent gotten around to it. your setup looks pretty awesome. i bet it shoots real nice too… probbly much more accurate than i could ever be.

I like your setup! Since my PA65 is sub moa at 1k with factory ammo, I’ve been unloading my bolt guns… save for the CZ rimfire. However, I’ve got an itch for a long range rifle, maybe in 338 Lapua, 416 Barrett, or a 408 CheyTac… like your setup… in a bolt action with all the goods to smack steel out to a mile.

thanks. yeah i got a lucky pick when i bought it. back then they were soooo inexpensive… i wish i had bought like 10 of them, instead i just bought the 1. oh well.

Thanks! It’s technically a Remington 700. I found a stripped short action, a 223 bolt, and a Mos-tek barrel in 300BLK. It’s small enough to conceal carry and when it shoots? I’ve heard farts louder.

Same. I travel a lot, so I keep all my shorties pistols. That way I don’t need the permission slip to cross state lines with them. Back when I lived down the road from my local PSA, I’d just go load up on cart-fulls of220gr AAC for something ridiculous like $.60-$.80/rnd in person at the brick and mortar. But I moved to a different state, and my new “Local” PSA is an hour and a half away. So now I pay AmmoSquared $1.080/round for Norma subs. Huge L.
I’m about the same from the Savannah, GA store. 220gr 300 Black Out is the best for suppressor.
For sure, and PSA makes the best 220gr I’ve ever shot. For a while AmmoSquared was buying this Chris Kyle American Sniper stuff. It was just awful. Mr Kyle would be ashamed.
I want to build me a few good bolt guns.. i’d like to clone some military sniper guns, among other builds.
