I ordered some items from MidwayUSA last week (got my birthday pricing discount) and I added some smokeless powder (which is not included in the birthday pricing). I went back to MidwayUSA today to look at some other stuff and noticed that the powder prices have jumped $15 for the 4lb bottles that I ordered last week. Appears that the āpossibleā shortage is already driving prices up even those these distributors have not seen an increase yet. Whatever they have in their current inventory should not have changed pricing in my opinion.

Reading up about how the US Navy provides security for the worldwide commercial shipping lanes and it is amazing. It is insane what the US Navy is capable of. The only blue water Navy that can do such a feat all around the world for a long period of time without interruption. The US Navy provides that same security for China as well. So, IMO if China does start acting up and becomes belligerent to its neighbors the US Navy could stop providing that security, leave China on its own and its lights out for the Chi Coms.
