Breaking News

Just WOW :flushed:

Some parts of this story just don’t add up – why is a 21-year old Air National Guardsman – who was just promoted to Airman First Class last 9 months ago – given the highest level / Top Secret security clearance, and why are the Pentagon’s battle plans for the entire Ukraine conflict sitting at an Air National Guard base in Massachusetts where they are available to low level reserve airmen? It’s as if the Pentagon doesn’t even want to protect their confidential battle plans and they’re sprinkling copies of them everywhere just hoping that someone will leak them.

I don’t know whether to believe that our intelligence forces are actually this stupid, or whether we’ve just been given a patsy so that the real investigation doesn’t keep on digging until the real perpetrators are revealed.

Sure, they’ll convict him and hang him, irrespective of whether or not he’s guilty, because they’ve got to hang somebody and they might as well sacrifice someone who is disposable. Let’s face it – we’re never going to be told which one of the higher-ups is responsible for this and they will never be held accountable.

I was amazed at the carelessness with which very very sensitive information was treated, when I interviewed with the US gov in the mid-90’s.

I felt like asking, “did you guys have a ‘should we run this by legal’ moment ?”

Probably another case of smoke and mirrors to distract from a bigger issue.
Now I say that without having read in detail what I’ve posted. I’ve been on the road. I’ll be able to digest it later this evening.

I can assure you that’s not even remotely the issue. It’s always been like that. The problem is in today’s society no one is held accountable for their crimes.

In today’s society we are subjected to selective enforcement of the laws such that anyone who is an enemy of the administration gets prosecuted while all of their affiliates go without prosecution.

It is completely out of control. This President over-stepped day one issuing however EOs he signed that day. The next one will do the same reversing all FJB’s EOs. All of them have eroded away what the Founding Father’s system was EXACTLY intended to be, one of checks and balances. The next one will prosecute the last one, that is the insanity they intended to prevent.

FJB needs to be cancelled, him, her, it’s EOs rescinded, put in a dumpster and set on fire. Oh wait Biden Administration is a dumpster fire… The presidential election was hijacked, the nation was derailed and we are now adrift in a sea of uncertainty, without anyone at the helm, rudderless, and running on empty. FJB threw the map and compass overboard along with our rights, freedom, independence, sovereignty, and dignity as soon as he, her, it was installed as douchebag in chief. Good riddance to ice cream cone clown.

The Airman got charged under the Espionage Act today. Attorney General Merrick Garland gave a speech about how important it is to respect classified documents so as not to compromise national security. It seems like they have every intent to hang this guy for Treason… so that the administration has someone that they can blame it on when the war plan for Ukraine fails completely. Governments like to put the blame on someone else when it becomes evident that the “we’re winning the war” lie that they’ve kept telling for over a year finally becomes exposed as being nothing but a made-up story to allow the ongoing export of trillions of dollars in graft at the taxpayers’ expense.

This Airman has a lot to worry about. His life may be over. But Traitor Joe and Hunter have already gotten their Get Out of Jail Free Cards so they don’t have anything to worry about. Lots of cash from China and Ukraine, with 10% for The Big Guy.

Selective enforcement of the Espionage Act.

As he should have. And as it should be. He signed the contract, took the oath, then betrayed his fellow Americans. Good riddance.

He did what he did and he’s going to have to pay for it. I have no problem with that. I just hope he doesn’t get used as a scapegoat so that he takes the blame for everything that has already gone wrong, and is about to go wrong, in Ukraine.

I thought the penalties under the espionage act would/should be more severe.

I don’t think that he is being scapegoated but I do think that there are others up his chain of command who are guilty as well. There have to have been red lights flashing when he was accessing the material. I don’t know what his job was in the Air Force but his access should have been limited by the " need to know" clause of any security clearance. Someone within his command structure had to have allowed him access to what is almost certainly compartmented intelligence. Beyond that who were the people with oversight into where/why this information was being accessed? I think we will see more heads roll over this fiasco.

I don’t think he’s being scapegoated yet … if that’s going to happen it’s going to follow in the future. In all likelihood, they won’t go very far up the chain of command looking for people to prosecute, if they even bother to go up the chain of command at all. Going up the chain of command results in embarrassment of the military command structure, and it’s easier to punish one bad apple and put all of the blame on him (scapegoat) than it is to admit that there is a systemic problem in the chain of command and to admit that they are also at fault. If I had to bet, I’d guess that the buck stops with Teixeira.

15 years if he’s guilty on those 2 counts? I had heard that AG Merrick said additional charges may be forthcoming. I’m not inclined to think that Teix will be let off easy, they’ll probably pile on more charges to increase his prison term. I think they’re only beginning to consider all the ways he’s going to be charged and they’re probably looking for more.

This guy is going to make a convenient excuse for why the Ukrainians are going to be forced into peace talks.

Right.

The MSM has been blowing sunshine at us for a year, telling America how great Ukraine is doing in defeating Russia in this proxy war, while the reality is that Russia has been destroying Urkaine and leaving nothing but the rubble of buildings in their wake as their troops advance. Ukraine has suffered total destruction as the Russians have advanced.

The battle for Bakhmut was predicted to be a decisive turning point, and over a month of meat-grinding battle Russia has almost complete control of the region. Suddenly, now that the MSM propaganda campaign has failed and America is coming to realize how bad the war is really going, we’ve got a low-level Airman who is being prosecuted for espionage. The timing is decidedly convenient.

Did this Airman’s activities result in the Russian victory in Bakhmut? Or Russia’s sweeping slow-motion victory in Ukraine as they bulldozed through the country? No, but the Gamer / Airman / Traitor makes a good headline, and when Ukraine has to surrender to peace talks, you can guarantee that the talking heads on TV will be blaming Airman Teixeira instead of admitting that Ukraine has been losing the battle from the beginning.

The above page contains an animation of the progress of the battle of Bakhmut. Even though Russia is achieving a clear victory the same web site has other articles that are trying to spin the news to make it sound favorable to Ukraine.

It doesn’t matter that the momentum slows down. That only means that Ukraine is bring crushed in slow motion. The Russians are still clearly victorious.

And it will only get worse. Putin has recently signed into law a new means of conscripting draftees into the Russian military via email. Russia has a near endless supply of available conscriptees, while Ukraine has suffered devastating losses that are independently estimated to be in the hundreds of thousands. The lifespan of Ukranian soldiers sent to the front line has recently been estimated at 4 hours. Soon Ukraine will lose it’s army and NATO will have to decide whether NATO forces will take their place. When that happens the peace talks can’t be far off.

Two people have been arrested and charged with murder in connection with an Alabama shooting that killed four people at a Sweet 16 birthday party, investigator…

In case anybody has missed it, Fox settled the lawsuit by Dominion Voting Systems for almost a billion dollars:

If peace talks happens and Russia keeps the stolen land it will show every autocrat how to defeat or endure the US and Allies that might makes right. Puts the West in a pickle.
