Anyone ever heard of Builders grade? A buddy of mine bought a 7.5 upper 5.56 from RTB Arms…. It’s labeled Builders grade for $130 ….any one used them before.
7.5 5.56 upper no BCG….
Builder grade is usually bare bone minimum with the specs. Cheapest it can be without any additions.

What’s your opinion on BFK Barrels?
It should work fine. But the extras like nitride, tuned gas port, etc. May not be there.

builders grade would have been better off being named Builders Level.
like GG said its just set for folks who like to build their guns together instead of buying it all finished already. this way you can choose how you wanna dress it out with all the little odds and ends.. as for BFK barrels never heard of them.. or the upper you mentioned… im sure they’ll do fine, its just entry level / no bells and whistles level is all.

and as far as RTB ARMS…..they have what they call. BG UPPERS….BUILDERS GRADE.
like i said a friend bought a complete 5.56 7.5 upper. no BCG….for $UNDER 130
and they offer the same with BCG for under $200.
