I love 5.7! It’s accurate, has fantastic performance, and has almost zero recoil. I’m dumbfounded that anyone has taken this long to make a carry-size 5.7 pistol.

i love 5.7 too, but until recently theyve been an expensive cartridge to buy, heck its still not too cheap, but its getting sooo much better with PSA and AAc finally producing their ammo.

Dont get me wrong . Clearly you are a fan of the 5.7 and far more expert on the cartridge and its specs than I will ever be.
Sometimes folks forget others are not so inclined to look so much as the FPS and specs of everything. I love shooting my rock as well as my SW Tactical 45. Both I shoot suppressed and not suppressed. Both are shot for fun and relaxation. I actually BUY suppressed 5.7 at times for my rock. In other words the compact rock would be perfect for me since I am not concerned about hot loads in any firearm, I just really want to have fun shooting…I suspect I am not alone in that goal. A compact 5.7 would perform similarly to a micro 9 IMHO.

Thanks for the reminder. I do forget sometimes.
I guess the concern I have is that due to the high velocity nature of the cartridge effectiveness may not be as good for defensive purposes. Obviously not everybody is going to buy them for that. Just like not everybody buys guns for a practical purpose (I own a Taurus judge after all), not everyone will realize that there’s likely a decrease in effectiveness with the smaller size.

I think by what I read on the barrel length it’ll be comparable to a compact nine.

Anyone heard anything about these recently? Hoping PSA puts out an update like they did for the x5.7
