I suppose I should update this and say that my rock compact has run flawlessly and I have no complaints! Definitely want a threaded barrel setup though.

A stupid idea, but how about a micro compact ? Jut joking, but might be an interesting gun.

Might be a barrel minimum length with the 5.7x28 round. I noticed they took .4 inch off the compact from 4.7 to 4.3 inch, not sure if the 5.7 is stable down under 4 inch barrel.

A compact barrel would probably be shorter then a 5.7 round. Just bought 5 boxes of 5.7 from psa that was .40 per round.
Hope they work in my rock with threaded barrel and red dot and my ar57 with 12.5 barrel.

how do you like that ar57 upperā¦ ive been wanting one for a while but always have a hard time pulling that trigger cause theyāre priced so high up usually.

Iāve only shot about 75 rounds out of it but I really like it a lot. If you get one you need to make sure you have a newer model bolt I had to return mine. Buffman has a good video all about it.

Iām disabled and canāt work so it took me a year to save up for it and donāt regret it at all. I like having the pistol version over the 16 inch barrel.
Iāve been trying to work with customer service to get mine returned and repaired since December. Itās been quite painful unfortunately. Havenāt been able to fire mine once.

that is an awesome review and just what i wanted to hear. i too want the pistol lengthā¦ while i still work, im fighting cancer and the bills associated with it, so i totally understand about having to save for it.
i hate to hear this. is yours a rifle length or is it a pistol length? what is its problem? what is it doing/not doing? Im sorry to hear its been that difficult.
I just got a Franklin Armory pistol lower with binary trigger, havenāt shot it yet. Hope it works on the ar57. Donāt see any reason why it wonāt but Iāll let you know. Sorry about the cancer. Wish I could pich in and help you get an ar57. Please keep me posted. I want to record shooting the binary trigger if I do Iāll let you know.

It wasnāt fully chambering a round, and wasnāt firing. It seems like itās maybe chambering properly now, but Iām not anxious to take it to the range again and have it not work again without the manufacturer checking it out first.
i appreciate the sentiment but its okā¦ Iāll get one when i get motivated enough to do so. I also appreciate the sentiment about the cancer. I hope the Franklin does work with it tooā¦ that would be fun, although expensive, but fun time for sure.
